[3] My Accountancy Dream

Profession is a big word, and it takes a lot of things just to achieve it.

I entered the ABM strand without a plan at all; because I believe that my first year as an ABM student will make me discover a lot of things about me.

One thing why I loved about ABM is not only because it teaches me about Business-related things, but because it introduced me new thing to dream about: Being an Accountant.

If I will choose what profession I want to have, it is being an accountant.

An Accountant is a necessity for every business. They say behind every good business is a good accountant.

I don’t really know when did this dream exist, but I just found my self enjoying all the activities we’re making on our Accountancy Subject.

After searching online, I learned that it’ll give me many benefits if I’ll be one successful Certified Public Accountant someday.

  1. Job security.
  2. A clear future.
  3. High salary.
  4. Benefits.
  5. Opportunity for advancement.
  6. A great network.
  7. Career diversity.
  8. Modern-day work.
  9. A rewarding role
  10. Prestige

Even though it will take a lot to finish the Bachelor of Science in Accountancy, and there are a lot of exams needed to become a CPA, I am decided.

[1] ABM: My Unexpected Choice

Back in Junior High School, I really thought that I’ll be taking STEM as my strand in Senior High School. Aside from the fact that I have a huge passion for art, I was also doing good in my Mathematics and Science subject. But after having some realization, I made STEM my pick because I want to be like my sister.

“It was not too late, STEM is out of the list, but what I should pick now?” That was the time when I became undecided about the upcoming SHS. Some of my friends said that I should consider the Accountancy, Business, and Management as a strand.

From the title itself, I know that it’ll take a lot of Math and understanding. And that is when I feel challenged.

I thought that it’ll be not as hard as the other strand, or so I thought…
